“I wanted to draw something that resonates with people, and since I moved to Malta recently I decided to illustrate Faith, Hope and Charity, but with a symbolic twist. Every element of this series of illustrations has a meaning and mythology related to the concept. The style is simple: plain ink on paper, with a single splash of colour: a nudge at the tattoo subculture flourishing on the island, as well as a tribute at one of the main ways in which Hope, Faith and Charity are usually portrayed. “
